Hello all. I'm taking a short break. Killian is sick and I am too angry with our Senate and their lack of a conscience to be good company. On the good news front, Danny got a job, and I'd probably be more excited about it if it covered my lack of unemployment benefits. I also spoke with my sister, who doesn't need a kidney (though if any of you do, let me know and I will gladly give you a kidney for a small price), and is a lovely person with whom I have lots in common. I am glad she found me.

I could go on, but that would be cruel and I think you get the idea. Also, like most women, when faced with an ethical dilemma of some kind, I always ask myself "what would Katharine Hepburn do?" This blog is an experiment of sorts; I find myself in an unexpected mid-life crisis at the age of 42, with some major upheaval in pretty much every area of my existence. I love to write and would like to earn money from it someday. This blog is my writing outlet until such time as the Muses see fit to fill my brain with the Great American Novel and I become filthy rich from its publication, at which point you will have to pay to read my innermost thoughts.
